Herbert B. Newton is a Professor and Director, Division of Neuro-Oncology, Department of Neurology, The Ohio State University Hospitals and School of Medicine; Ester Dardinger Chair in Neuro-Oncology, Department of Neurology, The Ohio State University Hospitals and School of Medicine; Co-Director, Dardinger Neuro-Oncology Center, The Ohio State University Hospitals and School of Medicine; Professor, Department of Oncology, The Ohio State University Hospitals and School of Medicine; Attending, Neuro-Oncology, The Arthur G. Biographical Sketch

Dr. Newton received his BA (magna cum laude, high honors in psychology) from SUNY at Buffalo Medical School in 1979 and his MS in 1980 in Natural Sciences - SUNY at Buffalo: Roswell Park Memorial Institute Division: "Interaction of Leucovorin with 5-FU in vivo and its effect on 5-FU toxicity." His M.D. is from SUNY at Buffalo in 1984.

Research

Dr. Newton has a specialty interest in brain tumors (oncology) and a research interest in malignant brain tumors.
