Background: Alicia Rendon graduated from The Ohio State University in 2004 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She was then employed at The Ohio State University Medical Center for five years, where she worked three years in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) followed by two years in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). She graduated from The Ohio State University in 2009 with her Master of Science in Nursing, and became certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. She also received a Multidisciplinary Specialization in Aging certificate from the Gerontology department at OSU.

Board Certification: American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)

Clinical Interests: Assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of various movement disorders including: Parkinson’s disease, Multiple System Atrophy, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, Dystonia, and Tremors. She is also interested in Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) for the treatment of these various movement disorders, including programming of the device and subsequent follow-up. In addition, she has an interest in research and has completed CITI training.
